DEN Group to sell Talliosake Oy

DEN Group Oy and a group of investors formed by former entrepreneurs of Talliosake Oy have signed on the sale of Talliosake Oy. The sale will be finalized in June.
”DEN Group separated Talliosake Oy’s business from DEN Finland Oy at the beginning of 2023, as the companies’ have very different business logics. This arrangement clarified the Group’s business structure and made it possible to better direct the companies’ business operations and reflect on different ownership arrangements,” says Mika Perkiö, CEO of DEN Group.
All business operations of Talliosake Oy and its subsidiaries will be transferred to the new owner. Talliosake Oy’s personnel will transfer with the sale and continue on their existing terms.
Changes in the management and board of directors of DEN Group Oy
The CEO of DEN Finland Otto Tarkiainen will also take on the role of the CEO of DEN Group from 1 June 2024 onwards.
After the sale of Talliosake Oy has been confirmed, the company’s current CEO Mika Perkiö will leave the company’s service and he will be proposed as a member of the Board of Directors of DEN Group at the forthcoming General Meeting. Perkiö has worked as DEN Group’s Chief Financial Officer and Managing Director through the clarification of the Group’s corporate structure and the sales process of Talliosake Oy and ensured that the Group’s financial position is secured.
DEN Group’s Annual General Meeting on 31 May will also include discussions on other changes in the composition of the Board of Directors. Saku Sipola, Chairman of the Board of Directors, is leaving his position and Markus Sjöholm will be proposed as the new Chairman of the Board.

We also thank Mika for his work for the company and we are pleased that Mika will continue close to DEN in the company’s board of directors,” says Antti Karppinen from CapMan, the largest owner of DEN Group.
